As I travel across the United States and Canada meeting many APPNA members and their families, I discover more and more the tremendous strength and potential of APPNA. I see APPNA members as leaders in their communities. I see them as devoting their personal and family time to make a difference in the life of others. I see them recognized for their academic achievements and leading their Regional and State Medical societies. I see them as successful practitioners holding tremendous respect from their peers and patients. And I see them as devoted parents with successful children who are the pride and joy of our organization. Indeed, our distinguished membership is the true asset and strength of APPNA. We have accomplished a lot over the last 36 years, however I feel we have the potential to do much more. With a clear vision and common sense of purpose, we can achieve great things together and truly make a difference. This strong belief has led me to serve APPNA for the last 15 years and this is the very reason I am contesting for the President Elect position.
